Heyya lovlies. I read a lot of books in September as well and I'm back with another review list. Hope you like them and give them a read. They're definitely worth it. These ones are mostly romance ones with sweet little unique stories and tropes covering it all, from fake dating to enemies to lovers to friends to lovers to the forbidden fruit. This month has everything, and I focused more on series rather than standalones so this is more of a review of 2 standalones and 3 series. Enjoy!! I really hope you do.

Twisted Love by Ana Huang (book 1 of the twisted series)
Verity by Colleen Hoover
Regretting you by Colleen Hoover
Twisted Love by Ana Huang

So, this is book one of the Twisted series by Ana Huang. Its full of twists and turns and I loved everything about this book. It kept me hooked from start to end, it was an experience in itself reading this. I am yet to read the other books in the series. I will list the order down below.
This book is about a billionaire Alex Volkov, who is as cold as ice when it comes to people and his one aim in life is to seek revenge for the death of his parents. His best friend's sister he has to protect from her crazy ex. Ava Chen, he is the one supposed to protect and is the one person who her brother had full faith in. But their story is full of unexpected surprises all along the way.
It's a forbidden fruit romance with enemies-to-lovers trope, a billionaire romance, a mystery in itself. This book has it all.

Verity by Colleen Hoover

I cannot begin to express my love for this book. This thriller keeps you on edge always!! It's a thrilling page turner with so much mystery. It will keep you hooked from the start and trust me you will not be able to put the book down. This fiendishly clever book definitely keeps you on edge throughout.
It is definitely a different book. It's about this famous author Verity Crawford, who gets in an accident and she and her husband, Jeremy Craford, hire another author, Lowen to finish writing the remaining books of her incredibly famous series. Their life hasn't exactly been great, with the death of two children and her life threatening. accident Lowen goes to stay with the Crawfords to gather notes, when she comes across a manuscript which she finds out is actually Verity's autobiography. She reads it and finds out Verity is not exactly is good person and contemplates on whether she should show it to Jeremy. As she starts to fall for Jeremy, she realizes it wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. It contains everything, from the day she met Jeremy to the day she had her twins, her pregnancy and the death of the twins.

Regretting you by Colleen Hoover

This book is literally such a heart-breaking book, a mother-daughter relationship. It's so heart wrenching reading about the lives of a mother and daughter after the death of the man who meant the world to the two of them. this book navigating through the lives of two women trying to move on from the pain really gets you bawling your eyes out. The shocking twists you uncover don't help either. It is really sad I admit but I love it nonetheless. It is nostalgic, hopeful and honestly it absolutely annihilated me.
Regretting you is about a mother and daughter who navigate about life after the death of Chris Grant, Morgan Grant's husband and Clara Grant's father. Morgan got pregnant in her teenage years, gave up her dreams to give a life to Clara. Morgan's best friend, her sister, dies with Chris in the car accident. Jonah, Morgan's best friend and her sister's fiancé, finds out a shocking truth about their accident, and he and Morgan try their best to hide it from Clara while navigating through their own connection with each other. This book is about how the mother and daughter grow distant after Chris's death and how they find their peace and things start to fall in place again. It's filled with family, first love, grief, betrayal, and nostalgia.
